Dr. Mahmut Tokur put forward the idea of a catheter in 2007 in order to reduce deaths due to heart injuries. Tokur completed this catheter design and its first prototypes in 2010 with his own means in the hospital environment.

When the product was thought to be useful, he started to seek finance with the purpose of performing advanced prototype production and experimental studies. He established the company named ‘Bebiller’ in 2011 with the government incentive which he applied for this purpose and resulted positively, and he started his studies within the scope of R&D and Innovation support.

In 2013, he successfully completed the "Heart Repair Catheter Project". In 2014, the Industrial Application project was successfully completed in order to prepare the same product for mass production with the government support, and today it has received Techno-investment support from the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology. In 2018, Bebiller Medikal received investment from Karacasu Tekstil A.Ş. In this context, a medical probe and catheter production facility was established in Kahramanmaraş.

As a result of the R&D studies conducted so far, there are 6 Utility Model Documents and 1 Trademark Registration Certificate. There are 2 International Patent (PCT) documents. Many national and international medical articles have been published on the scientific results of R&D studies.

Bebiller continuously carries out innovation and R&D studies for human health, especially for the purpose of developing life-saving products. It carries out projects by bringing the idea and the experts who can realize the idea together and by providing the necessary R&D environment.
